Hi all,
for the last month or so, i haven't been on DA not that i don't like it, just that i've been building a flight simulator!
It's been a hard journey so far with much ridicule from people around me. The journey is nowhere near completion, but its definiately come a long way from the start.
I have been integrating potentimeters and joysticks etc. into the stripped out shell of a Bell 206B Jetranger(nicknamed 'Rocky' . Check out my gallery for pics (they all start with 'homemade flightsimulator'.
Here are the specs:
1 x 19" tft lcd screen (for the back)
2 x 24" tft lcd screen (for the front)
1 x projector (for infront visuals)

7.1 creative surround sound speakers
Modified Saitek X52 joystick (integrated into real helicopter controls)
Computer:
I would type out all the specs, but there's lots of long numbers etc. so i'll just say it has the latest and best of everything.

I have done all of the work my self and am very proud of it (so NO put me downs). I have done all of the physical work, as well as programing within FSX (Flight Simulator X). I cannot explain the joy i feel, when im flying it, its incredible, i love!!!
